I will be cautiously optimistic. I will reserve judgment until she plays someone her size or taller.
Understand…. But she was incapable of doing what she is doing now a year ago. I see an upside to her now I didn’t see last season.
She’s been great, better at layups than Hannah that’s for sure.
She a big sloppy with the ball though. That needs some work.

Haven't seen the game yet. I assume most points were off lob post feeds where she just lays it up, or offensive rebounds? She does struggle to score OVER people which is why I get confused when teams front her and give up the lob. Will try to find the game later to watch. She has an ok face up jumper if left alone in the short corner.

Agree that it remains to be seen how she'll hold up against better teams but that doesn't take away anything from the fantastic performances she's put on in our two most important games so far. I'm especially happy it's starting to "click" a little bit being her senior year. A lot of players of her caliber would've/could've transferred out after Stuelke climbed above her on the depth chart at the 5 last year.
I'm pretty positive CC treated her like shit and that screwed her up last year. Now without CC she's tearing it up.
My only issue is she was totally gassed most of the 4Q and Jan didn't play Ava until the last 2:00 minutes when AOG got her 4th foul. I applaud her effort but she went to the floor 2 or 3 times in the 4th and struggled to get back up she was so worn out. I understand Jan going with the vets for the most part, but 2 or 3 2 minute blows by Ava would probably have helped her a lot.
Lets not jump to conclusions after a couple of games. Addie had alot of chances to step up last year and seize that 5 spot, as did Goodman, and AJE to a lesser extend. Was CC responsible that none of the three gave solid consistent play? It was the biggest weakness on last years team.
