Why is he asking Biden to “establish a unified national resettlement strategy to address the underlying issues.”

Can you explain why HR2 wasn’t brought to the Senate by Schumer? I’ve asked this question several times over the past year and no one is willing to answer.

There are some parts of HR2 that make a lot of sense, The trouble is the MAGA part of the GOP put in some parts that are absolute deal killers, 1. Begin immediate resumption of building the border wall. 2. Removing restrictions on deportation of Children. There is some petty stuff in the bill as well such as DHS is not allowed to purchase any EV’s which seem to be pure political grandstanding and has no serious implications to addressing the border problem.

IMO That is why Trump shooting down a bill that was truly Bipartisan was a huge mistake, No Bill is going to please everyone but you have to start somewhere. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
