HR pbp

Not sure how Mars didn't get DQ'd....Cooper was trying like hell for about 20 seconds to let him go and get back to his feet. Mars just held onto his leg with his forehead on the mat.

If he would have been in control there, he would have gotten the stall call for holding onto the leg for 5 seconds, why not the same call when the other guy is trying to let you up?

Should have been a pretty easy win for Cooper if he wrestled even remotely smart.

157 was messed up. Marsteller was obviously hanging on to anything he could get a hold of. He should have been DQ'd but the refs weren't going to call it. Cooper gave him a chance by not wrestling smart. He should have immediately released him.

That dude was dead after the third minute...They should have stalled him out. It was Cooper's to lose. So far, Hawk's have come to wrestle. Logan and Cooper wrestled hard. Gilman is a flat out assassin. Wish Cory had got that pin. Brandon was flat out awesome...so many had him losing that match and it wasn't close
 
Cooper didn't wrestle hard. He wrestled stupid and JV like. Gotta smell the blood of a wounded animal Coop. Big fail

I agree, but Harding was still holding the leg. I seen it call a TD with less control, but also seen not called with less control. Just so much official's judgement there. Hate to say it, but its true.

Looked to me like the last 30 seconds he just lay there. I partially blame cooper. All he did was stare at the ref. He should have been working a pinning combo or cut him and made him get up. Also, if cooper would have taken one step back on marstellars last escape that could have forced another stall call. I dont think mars wanted to get up there.

Chance probably should have been DQ'd, but hard to feel bad for Coop after giving up 8 backs. Marstellar isn't a 57. I know people can draw the Jaggers comparison, but if rather he just sit for the year and take 65 next year, for his health.
 
As a wrestling viewer with no wrestling background, I felt that Cooper was extremely aggressive and took a lot of shots. That okie state dude was gassed and looked to have no desire to wrestle back.
 
Coop should have taken advantage but want a stinker of a coming out party for Mars.

Smith will be kicking his ass over it but that was awful.

IMO-Iowa needs bonus from brooks or burak to win dual
big leads by clark and sorensen should have led to majors, but kept OSU in the dual
 
We are pissing this one away. Clark not getting bonus, Cooper vs Marstellar, and now giving up a late takedown in that last match.
