ISU was able to chip away when Shannon was out but needed to do more. IL was horrendous from the line. Shannon can get to the rim anytime.

Agreed. Iowa State looked scared to start the game, like it was too big of a stage for them. Illinois crisp passing mostly negated the clones trapping defense.
