yupper, at least that is what the Advocare Invitational bracket indicates.

These games can only help the Hawkeyes get better. Two top-20 caliber teams, and we hung tight at the end. We'll beat Wichita State and be 4-2.. Better than being 6-0 against a bunch of bunnies.

The fact we might leave this tournament without a key non con win is disappointing. At the end of the year if you're a bubble team it could be games like these that pop your bubble. Wichita St usually gets things done in their non con which keeps them rated highly even if we beat them the fact they are having such a poor start to the season might keep them from being considered a marquee win.

They are missing 3 good players including their best player. Iowa should win.

Our SOS is not going to keep us out of NCAA, but our lacks of wins will. This team has potential to get a lot better, but right now they look to be lacking in several areas.

Going 0-3 in this tourney will suck.

This tournament was loaded, but didn't like the way we played against ND. We looked flat from the start. In fact I thought ND did also. I think both teams having lost a game didn't want to be there anymore. Second half Fran didn't substitute much, was he sending a message? He was pretty hot late in first half. I would have lifesaving a fly on the wall at halftime in the locker room. Hawks did again make a second half run, but fell short of completing it. Lots of work to do yet.
