No offense to CC, but I don't know if you are talking about Joens or Clark here., but whenever she drives to the hoop…..she exaggerates every little bump or falls to the ground.

They were complaining about her post game interview?Anyone got the video from Clark's post-game interview on ESPN2 talking up ISU/UNI/Drake as well as Iowa? Some trolls on Twitter say she's got no class.
Sorry, I was tired and it was late at night, I should've been more clear. They were saying she had no class because of "how she acted in the last five minutes of the game". I wanted to show that interview because when I watched it, it was phenomenal and genuine and lifted up the sport of Women's Basketball in the state of Iowa. They were complaining about her post game interview?
She literally praised Iowa, ISU, Drake, and UNI and said how great women's basketball is in the state of Iowa. If someone took exception to that, they're crazy.
Clark does it also, but not nearly as bad as Joens. I like her game, but this makes it hard to watch her play.No offense to CC, but I don't know if you are talking about Joens or Clark here.
They do realize Iowa State was playing up close defense all the way to the last second. Iowa State never called off the dogs even though they had 0 chance of winning in the last minutes. I think Clark was then kinda like alright you want some more of this?Sorry, I was tired and it was late at night, I should've been more clear. Agree. I thought she did an outstanding job. They were complaining about her post game interview?

Clark's layup at the end was AFTER the horn sounded and Iowa State had stopped playing. More of a celebration, not an in your face two more points. They do realize Iowa State was playing up close defense all the way to the last second. She went there bc her parents did as well and it’s a christian school. Interesting story, but it’ll cost her in terms of progress in D1. Similar to talented HS players who come out of 1A schools and maybe don’t have the chance to play with the best AAU teams IMO. Unfortunately SS only has one season to make the most of it and the time has come to do so.13,800 tickets sold I believe which is impressive. It will be interesting to see if the women draw a larger crowd than the men. First half was a bit of a yawner, but credit Bluder for making halftime adjustments and Clark and Martin for stepping up. Soares for ISU was impressive. Hard to believe at her size she landed at an NAIA school.
I think it was more of the dribbling right before that could be considered disrespectful, she clearly waited for the clock to run out before making the basket.Clark's layup at the end was AFTER the horn sounded and Iowa State had stopped playing. It was a little funny that ISU coach called timeout toward the end and it was evident the game was out of reach, but no huge deal, then when their timeout ran out Bluder called timeout immediately after and just let the girls hang together on the court as she walked to the bench. I think it was a savor this moment kind of dealClark's layup at the end was AFTER the horn sounded and Iowa State had stopped playing. More of a celebration, not an in your face two more points.
I thought Fennelly called the timeout to tell his players not to foul. I didn't remember Bluder calling a late timeout. It was a little funny that ISU coach called timeout toward the end and it was evident the game was out of reach, but no huge deal, then when their timeout ran out Bluder called timeout immediately after and just let the girls hang together on the court as she walked to the bench. Iowa's timeout was added on to the Iowa State timeout. I think it's just the coaches wanted to advance the ball to the half court to avoid any turnover leading to a score in case Iowa State still wanted to press. Iowa State hadn't being fouling even before its timeout. Coach Fennelly probably just wanted to talk to the players to console them a bit, being faced with the loss in this hard fought game. I had no issue with either timeouts.I thought Fennelly called the timeout to tell his players not to foul. I didn't remember Bluder calling a late timeout.
I was surprised she went 0-6 from the line and it really hurt. She was 15-21 coming into the game. Not great, especially compared to her teammates, but not bad.She went there bc her parents did as well and it’s a christian school. Interesting story, but it’ll cost her in terms of progress in D1. I wish her luck tho. The better ISU plays the rest of the year, the better our NET rank. Wouldn’t mind meeting them in the tourney, it’s not impossible that we end up in the same bracket again. Had we played last year, the committee would have avoided it this year, but that clearly didn’t happen. Soares will surely improve, but so will Stuelke, O’Grady, Goodman, Davis.
The players are fun to watch. Patrick gets more upset at the officials than Fran does during the men's games. Many of the men’s players were in attendance. Ogundele was in line behind us and that is one of the largest human beings I have ever seen. Kind of like Shooter turning around and seeing the giant with the nail in his head. Just huge.
She called it immediately after ISU's timeout. Neither team even left their huddles.I thought Fennelly called the timeout to tell his players not to foul. I didn't remember Bluder calling a late timeout.

I don't know if it was the first timeout but probably the second when the manager ran onto the court to get the tooth and the dentist came out of the stands with the container for the tooth so someone knew about it quickly. She may have been a little concussed as she was struggling to stand upright and left the court during the timeout.Bluder called TO after ISU so they could figure out what was going on with Marshall. She had failed to tell them she lost a tooth and didn't want to come out of the game.
Having 1 starter get dinged up in the last minute of the game and then another one in the post-game celebration is less than ideal.
The guy’s a legendary nut job! His daughters played HS ball in Iowa City, but sounds like Bluder wanted nothing to do with that family.
He’s been kicked out of multiple HS & college games….including last game at Carver when he left his seat to sit behind our players parents & wouldn’t move. He was also banned from a HS gym & I saw a post that they knew he had snuck up in disguise but were too busy laughing at his sorry a$$ to make him leave.
Maybe he (Fennelly) has softened. He probably called timeout to call his players some vile names. He used to be reknowned for thatIowa's timeout was added on to the Iowa State timeout. Lisa almost always calls a TO to advance the ball when she can. Not my favorite rule; it adds at least a minute or two to every game🙃.Bluder called TO after ISU so they could figure out what was going on with Marshall. She had failed to tell them she lost a tooth and didn't want to come out of the game.
