Don't let facts get in your way. That was the 2014 tournament and Niang didn't tweak his ankle he broke his foot. It was at the end of the North Carolina Central game and then the Cyclones went on to BEAT North Carolina without him but lost by five points to the eventual champion UConn. You don't think he wanted to play!!!

Georges Niang. The Cyclone sophomore scored at least 20 points for the 11th time this season while also notching six rebounds and four assists. Niang shot 9-14 from the field and 4-5 from beyond the arc before leaving game due to injury. The Methuen, Mass., native has scored in double figures 29 times this year. Niang will miss the remainder of the season with a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot.

Keep in mind ISU doesn't have a key component yet. Burton won't enter the rotation until the UNI game. He is a stud and will make them better.
