Iowa State is garbage!

If isu is Big bro they wouldn't need help to win. Like in football. The hawks beat isu in every way. isu had a whopping 35 yards of offense in the 4th quarter.

See the difference yet or does someone need to read this slowly to you.

So maybe it's not so much of ISU being big bro in basketball it's just Iowa being the littlest brother?

ISU won because they don't tuck their pecker between their legs when it's crunch time. They know they will win, Iowa doesn't have that swagger.

If isu was big bro they wouldn't leave any doubt. If isu was the big bro they wouldn't need Iowa to help them win.

Not sure why this is so complicated for clown fans.

isu won because Iowa helped them win. Not sure why this is so difficult for clown fans to grasp.

It is the same argument clown fans used when losing to UAB. Get it yet?

I can agree with this. Since Iowa helps ISU win though (which is crazy to me they would do that) that makes them littlest brother.

ISU - Little bro
Iowa - Littler bro

haha! This feels like the Iowa State message board again.

The clowns played like crap and still managed to cut your throat at the most opportune time. You guys had that game and state made a female dog out of you.

Hey clown fan, come here. I will let you in on a little secret. I am just posting exactly what clown fans were saying after the UAB game this past March.

GET IT YET? CLOWN FANS ARE SO DENSE THEY DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THEIR OWN ARGUMENTS.

Yep it is predictable that clown fans show up in droves after beating Big Bro in anything.

Maybe in the future isu will be good enough to beat Iowa without any help. It sure didn't happen last night.

I already know who big bro is.

43-26 says who Big Bro is. Don't clown fans on cry-clown fanatic say isu is big bro in women's volleyball despite Iowa winning this year?

Naw using an isu argument against clown fan isn't playing fair.

Maybe someday little bro will lead Iowa in the series other than women's volleyball.

Would that be anything akin to YOUR buddy (cyrail) going off on a two-loss team not being ranked. The fact now as then speak differently as several examples of teams with two losses even this early in the season exist.

who cares about this season. he made the claim ISU was ranked going into that game....they weren't.

The last time Iowa beat little bro in Carver the students didn't rush the court and isu was ranked while Iowa wasn't.

That is the difference between Big and little bro. Or must we ignore any facts that get in the way of a clone fan argument/
Check out the youtube video of the football game in Iowa City 2006. Iowa ranked 16th storms the field after beating ISU.

Let us know when Iowa is ranked #4 and isu is unranked and we storm the field or court?

Hey at least make the claim that #16 ranking is really no different than a #4 ranking.

WITH YOUR FOOTBALL SCHEDULE, YOU HAVE THE GALL TO EVEN TALK ABOUT OUR SCHEDULE? I JUST FELL OFF MY CHAIR LAUGHING, HAVE TOLD TWO OTHERS WHO ARE LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF. THAT MADE MY DAY.

Western Toledo football is the real joke. Only at isu is getting MAC level recruits considered an upgrade in talent.

Umm the original post talked about our Big 12 schedule... Guess what, Sherlock, we don't develop that either--but we at least play EVERY team twice, including Kansas, who far out weighs any Big Ten football team you even came close to playing until the Championship.

In Big 12 football, you would have had a nice season...6-6 or maybe 7-5. That's swell...
Except that YOUR dumbass is the only one who thinks so because last time I checked, Iowa dropped ONE SPOT after they were supposedly going to get blown out. So the Selection Committee also thought that the Little 12 SUCKED. So there's that.

isu would have gone 2-10 with Iowa's schedule, assuming the clowns could have beaten Maryland.

2-10 may be being nice.

That is funny. Didn't Wisconsin just lost to UW Milwaukee at home? And Western Illinois? Big 10 looks tough this year! LOL
Right and a #14 seed kicked ISU's asses right when it mattered, in the NCAA's. Why didn't Niang blow a kiss to that crowd? Maybe because his ugly mug had UAB's boots all over his face. Hail the Mighty UAB Blazers!!!!

The reason ISU fans look at HR is for entertainment. The arrogance of the Hawk fanbase is astonishing and should be studied. Because of this, beating you in basketball or football is so much more glorious and rewarding. Every fanbase needs to be humble so keep this in perspective, you've won 1 NCAA game in the last decade, you've played for the same number of football national championships as Kansas over that decade and have the same odds of winning a footballchampionship this year as KU. Rose Bowl!!!!!

Or the only time this year's seniors beat ISU, their freshman year.

Not entirely sure what this even refers to... but, have to consider the source. You know, that memory that seems to fail more and more often as LC continues to post nearly every waking day on HR.

But let's assume that he is talking about winning streaks in the Iowa-isu series. Correct me if I am wrong (so that I can pull out the standard LC excuse), but the current three wins in a row seem to be equal to the all-time high for isu. In addition to owning a decided advantage in the series (+ 17 wins), Iowa also can lay claim to having won more than three in succession on more than one occasion.

Would that mean that there were multiple (just for TClone) senior classes from isu that failed to experience victory over Iowa?

Great to know.

From what I can tell, yes. Between 1978 and 1983. More than 30 years ago.

So you can always hang your hat on that.

Yet another expert from the hallowed fields of isu.

Entertainment is the apt description. The mistake you make is that obsessed isu fans are here on HR, not the other way around. What should be studied is how and why one particular poster spends as much time as he does on the interwebz; over 80,000 entries with way too many of those right here on a Hawkeye message board. Give us your best idea or theory on why this phenomena occurs. Do you think you can find an example of another poster so caught up in a 'rivalry' that he just has to post on the rivals message board at the frequency and rate that this isu fan does?

Iowa has also won an NCAA game in this very year! Has isu accomplished even that? Will isu ever be able to achieve that?

Football? Now you truly are showing either your ignorance or obsession (perhaps both). Was Iowa ever considered (having odds) to have the possibility of winning the National Championship in football this season. Take your time and remain oh so humble because this question might prove so hard for you to answer honestly. Was isu (or Kansas since they seem to be on the same level) ever a potential for a National Championship in football?

Shreveport!!!! (I believe that to be the location where isu has played in the majority of its now twelve bowl games.)

Like I have said too many times before, pick your poison. Either history (including the entire series) is relevant or it is not.

How far back would one go to find a point where isu has more than three successive wins?

I don't know, nor do I care. I'm more of a hear and now type of guy. Like to live in the moment. And at the moment, the clowns are undefeated.
