Iowa is good, damn good and playing at a high level. Regardless of today's outcome they play like this the rest of the season they can make the Dance.

He's the guy that thinks there is nothing wrong with Iowa's offense (football), and Brian is a great offensive coordinator.

Well daddy's boy came in and we lost a 5-point lead and now down 1 (almost 3) at half. McCaffery will absolutely sell out his team's success for his son(s) undeserved playing time. Pretty pathetic and a lack of integrity Fran and why I lost all respect for him with Conner. But JMO!

Pat had a great pass at the end of the half. That pretty much sums up his half. The guys are in this and it’s going to take a great effort in the 2nd half. Need to get our big guy going…. Inside out game if needed but he can do it. No foul trouble so far. Illinois is relentless on the offensive boards.

9 defensive rebounds for Iowa and Illinios has 8 offensive rebpunds...that is the problem. Although PMAC is offense minded player, he's 6'9 and he should be plus rebounder and he in instead a below average rebounder. . Krikke having decent game other than Coleman Hawkins was 4/5 while being guarded by Krikke. This Iowa team is pretty skilled on offense, but not enough above the rim players. Perkins carrying the team with 5 rebounds at the half. Game like this shows how much Iowa needs some athleticism/strength which is what Perkins brings.
Honestly I think this is about as good as Iowa can play.
PMac is 6’9” and he had 0 rebounds. He is sometimes ok on offense but we really need some defense and rebounding from him
Owen needs to finish his plays on offense he looked passive in the block
PMac and Sandfort are both better match ups on Coleman than Krikke. I would like to see more Dembele, his defense impresses me more and more. Unfortunately, his offense is pretty raw.
Yes good question. How that Illini guy was able to fall on his own and slide 2 ft holding the B-ball and not get called for traveling is a bewilderment.
