***Iowa vs ND game thread***

Iowa is afraid to play any type of physical defense now because they don't want to be called for a foul.
Shoot. I was really hoping we would keep it closer. Second half still to go but I'm hoping to now keep it under 20 at half.
This game probably requires a moment like this...
This game is reminding me why college basketball can be simply unwatchable at times.

IA totally got screwed on those series of calls enough to widen the gap. Now the refs will swallow the whistles for awhile unless IA gets within striking distance.

This team is a work in progress for sure but their is some young talent , gonna have to have patience as fans.

This is only 2nd game I've seen this season. Have to hand it to Jay Boh, when he's hitting 3's, that adds a dimension to Iowa offense.
Moss looks like he should be playing more and Ellingson looks solid as a shooter.
Pemsl really has some nice post moves and I liked Kreiner's active hands. Got ripped off on offensive foul call on post up.
I doubt we win, but situation is probably not as dire as the Virginia score indicated. This team will likely be 9-10-11 range in B1G play.

Wow! Played HORRIBLE for a long stretch then fantastic after getting down big. A lot of fight there.

I really like Moss right now. He has had his hand up and altered some shots. His defense was just as good as any of the other guards.
They are doing a nice job of getting ND into initial traps just need to not give up the easy one out of it with 5 or less seconds on the shot clock.
Need to keep hitting shots, not turning the ball over, not allow easy layups, and REBOUND!

Didn't run Iso with Gesell and see him get his shot stuffed...this year our PG actually can hit from 3 or pass it to another 3ball option.
