I think Iowa is on the upswing and this team actually exceeded expectations. Hard to realize that I get it. I was at the game Sunday and was as pissed off as one could be with what was on the line. But, perspective.

I haven’t been this checked out for Iowa basketball since Lick was here. Maybe it’s because the women are so fun to watch but this team does nothing for me. I guess I’m getting old.

It’s called apathy. I’ve had it since Iowa got knocked out by Richmond 2 years ago. Was a total gut punch from a team I was all in on. I have zero expectations for Iowa basketball anymore. Would be absolutely shocked if they won this game and when they don’t, I’ll shrug my shoulders and go about my evening
