3rd highest Effective Field Goal Percentage in the country at 59.2%

3rd in Assists Per Game

4th in assist to turnover ratio.

7th in fast break points

If Iowa cleans up the defensive boards and plays acceptable defense they win. Period.

Hoping for an easy win where we can break out the chips & salsa by midway through the 2nd half, but expecting either a very tight win or a disappointing loss.


I will say this .... if the Hawks want any chance to deserve/get a non-AQ NCAA bid this season, they need to win this game. Even on the road.

If they had turned any of the ISU, Utah St or Michigan losses into a win, tonight wouldn't be such a 'must win', but they didn't so it is.

USC averages ~4k fans in a 10k seat arena. With the fires in LA, I would guess a smaller crowd tonight so we shouldn't be rattled by the fans.
