JoBo's Intentional Missed FT after Tying Chris Street's School Record Getting National Praise

Yes, I believe JBo has shot TWO FTs in the last FOUR games. Pretty amazing for a PG.

That is a big issue if your PG never goes to the line in almost 3 weeks... :(

Struggles to attack the hoop and struggles to play D. All is forgiven because he scores points in bunches and has good A/T ratio

Bigger issue is having a 90 percent plus guy that plays almost the entire game never gets there period. Take out the being able to drive inside and create contact, and you should still get to the line to ice games in the closing minutes. Really shows how little this team has played with the lead this year....

Congrats to Jordan on tieing Chris Street's record (although it is a bittersweet event for many including myself).

And congrats on leading the B1G in FT%. Impressive!

Feb 25 UPDATE:

JoBo was 4-5 vs Northwestern (Feb 25 home game) and the streak ends; he ties the school record of 34 FT's in row.

In the postgame interview, it was clear JoBo missed attempt #35 on purpose.

Post game; a cool scene.

Forgot to mention, JoBo pointed to heaven on the free throws on the next possession.

There must be dust in the air. My eyes are watery.

Not a big sports gambler, but got burned on that one. Lost on the shot, and and ultimately lost by.5 on the over under. Not huge money, but would have covered a few bar tabs .

What Jordan has just done will long be remembered. Fittingly moreso than tying or breaking any free throw record.
Well done, young man. You are a Hawkeye.

In tying Chris Street, people will notice that he had the same accomplishment, and Chris Street's record will still be recognized in the future too, and the tie will be a testament to all future Hawkeye athletes on a model to follow in being classy above everything else.

You should not bet for or against your team. Bet on anything else you wish.
