Do you really think football is being reviewed because of a “delaying the opening of the country?” Two of my daughter’s are both at college right now. They began classes today so the country does continue to open. I happen to live in North Carolina and have a Democratic governor.
The Presidents of the Universities in the B10 have voted. My hope is that they will see the responses from players, parents and fans and not postpone the fall season. I do not blame one side or the other though as both are to blame. Some on the left have been too cautious, while some on the right have not been cautious enough.
Yes. I do think football is being reviewed for that exact reason. Panic over something that kills less than 1% of a young and healthy populace is causing the schools to consider how much they will get sued. Meanwhile now you have more students (the athletes) that are nor going to be as careful because there isn't a season at risk.

This doesn't fit their narrative. I have a friend who I've told this very thing to and he just keeps on thinking its a democratic ploy to get rid of Trump. It could have been a problem that guaranteed Trump got reelected if Trump had handled it correctly.
