Pete Futiak of College Football News just said that Iowa stinks on the Boers and Bernstein radio show on the Score670 in Chicago. Lovable (not) and childlike B&B giggled and laughed derisively in agreement with Futiak. Disrespect is a great motivator.

Interesting that a guy working for a College FB publication would say a 9-0 team stinks. I would guess he does not have a big friend base. It's all good......we can stink ourselves all the way to 13-0 for all I care.

Anyone who says Iowa doesnt rank among the top teams in america needs some education. Iowa is undefeated and beat 2 top 30 teams on the road. While not flashy, we won the games we should and defense is top notch. Turnover margin is excellent which leads to championships....

Now both are officially top 25, but yeah Iowa is really good and this is the most fun I have had in a Fall....EVER!

On SirusXM today, Iowa got quite a bit of respect ... the guy who hosts the show with Rick Nuhisel (sp?) said "Iowa is a good team, and about time people start to understand that" (or something along those lines). Jack Arute had good things to day as well ... Go Hawks!

Would Kirk show clips of the Gophers celebrating last year as motivation? I know that's not really his style but he did let somebody else create a teaser video of new uniforms. They really enjoyed kicking our butt last year.
