It has been good in spurts but we need to be more consistent with our effort on defense.

Part of that is having no bigs in towards the end of the half. Forced us to double and then everyone else is in scramble mode.

When he gets downhill attacking the basket, he's a problem.
So nice to see Perkins get back in the groove. This team is starting to hit on the right cylinders like they were earlier in the preseason.

Bowen could definitely use a year to put a little weight on. Some freshman mistakes but you're gonna have that. His defense picked up after giving up 2 easy layups right away and silly freshman foul at the end but excellent drive and layup. Connor can really throw the ball!
I think losing all those minutes to Dix the last couple games did it.
Maybe Coach Fran told him his status as a starter is in jeopardy?
