Riddle me this...
Which Iowa wrestler forfeited out of the biggest regular season tournament for medical reasons two years ago, then went on to do pretty well at nationals that year?
I guess I'm just not one to strongly react to so something that's more than likely nothing.
Well, the guys you list as attacking early are considerably more talented than the guys you list as not attacking (Meyer is probably somewhere in between, talent wise). So it kinda makes sense, right? It's not just a mentality/toughness thing.

Bummer with Clark we could end up with only 3 in the finals now. 125, 149, 197 Lets hope a couple more guys come through.174 is our next best chance to get a finalist. Clark was penciled in to the finals. 184 is no chance and 285 is not too promising.
