Iowa needs that win Thursday, but not nearly as bad as the Big Ten needs tOSU to win that game. We will face hostile officiating once again.
The boys are a tough pack though. They seem to handle adversity fairly well. With all but outcome determinative officiating they seem able to hang around, like today. Just need a few more makes and the Indiana game would have looked a lot different, even with the open season on Luka.

We have the out of conf road / neutral wins which the committee likes. The committee was discussing us during the top 16 reveal, so that means we were a 5 at that point.

The definition depends on the goal. I think it's a must win for many reasons. Confidence, NCAA seeding, momentum. You lose at home to OSU and you're looking at an 8-9 seed, aka the death zone.
Big win by the Hawkeyes today. This team has balls the size of coconuts.
Losing at home to OSU will not result in a fall from 5-6 seed to 8-9 seed.

Pemsl looked mobile out there, best he has looked in a LONG LONG TIME. Hopefully he can keep that coming each game, big difference maker. Evelyn some horrendous turnovers but the good far outweighed the bad.

Once again, reading comprehension is lacking. Several posters today I've noticed. OSU was a must win with a loss today and then they would be a LOCK even at 18 wins probably, now it is mute which I also posted earlier int his thread I hoped it was. So, whatever Champ.
Wasn’t directed directly at you. I wouldnt have been upset at all had they lost today. Road wins are especially tough to come by this year let alone short handed. Even without CJ as tough as this team is I just don’t see them dropping all of their home games even if they do drop all of the road games. If they get behind in a game it’s game over. They play a bad game they will be lucky to win another game with the schedule left. A lot of people over react big time all of the time. I do not think your post was dead on. I think you have been over reacting.
I don't think I have, I want them to make the tournament and losing CJ and a loss at a bad IU, with this game on the horizon with short turn around and it looked pretty tough with 3 min to go today. I don't think I was at all, a loss today and OSU is a must win based on who they had remaining IMO. I am glad to be able to flush the sentiments of Thursday post CJ injury and loss and LETS ****ING GO HAWKS, simple as that.
Not alone, but you lose and you could spiral. Two tough road games and two tough home games left. You win OSU and I don't think 8-9 comes into play.
