The choices:
*** Oklahoma, a program and school with tarnished reputations. Follows Texas like a lap dog.
*** Kansas, great basketball, football smells so bad many think it's rotting flesh. Great academics and would fit in the B1G for the most part. No television audience outside of basketball.
*** Texas, a huge ego that tears apart a conference when it doesn't get it's way. Bad! Bad! Bad decision to let them in the B1G. Just ask Nebraska and the rest of the former Big 12 teams who left that forsaken conference.

It's best to keep Nebraska, invite Kansas and look for another team in a great market area which has a great athletic program and can match the B1G's scholastic expectations. Oklahoma is not that team. Many of their students can't even spell Oklahoma.

Nebraska fits in well in the western division of the Big 10. Just because we've had a great year in sports, I'm not so sure we should be kicking sand in Nebraska's face. They will be a good rivalry for us in future years.

I like having Nebraska. Definitely fits the Midwestern culture of the historic conference much more than the other new teams.

Not sure any of the schools you list would be worth it although if I had it my way, I would love to see Midwestern schools like Mizzou and KU come in. Nobody listens to me though.

Although I don't like the way they have won the B10 Football Championship every year like their fans were telling us they would, I think they were a good add to the B10 conference. The Black Shirts have revolutionized defense in the conference by allowing 400 yards rushing to Melvin Gordon and Wisky dropping 70 on them. I'm sorry, it just doesn't get any better than that as a fan of Nebraska coming into the B10. The fact that they cling to those 7 losses as being in the final minute in several belies their stupidity. Hey Nebraska, terrible teams took you to the final minute...you weren't very good. Good teams don't let bad teams play with them. Thank you, thank you, thank you for joining the conference. It's dispelled all the B12 is great theories of the past.

Dumb post. Reruns are getting old.

Since when does Kansas have great academics?

My suggestion has ALWAYS been dump the Cornholers and Add
Texas Christian University. Great Football, solid academics and gets the Big10
the DFW Metroplex of over 5 million people. Could be Awesome.

There is no going back on conference expansion, and it is not likely over, so I like the addition of Nebraska to the B1G. It's a great natural rivalry. I would like to see Oklahoma and Mizzou added too. With the tradition of playing schools like Michigan, MSU and tOSU forever lost it would be nice to play all of our border states every year (except South Dakota of course) and the renewal of the Nebraska/Oklahoma rivalry could bring some attention the the B1G west.

I did not vote in the poll because I would keep Nebby, but if we were to add one of the poll mentioned teams, I would add OU. I do like the Nebraska Oklahoma rivalry it would bring to the conference, and unless they realigned the divisions again, it would quiet some of the talk about how much tougher the East is then the West. I can say this, both division titles along with the BIG championship game would be earned. Maybe ESPN would spread more love on the BIG and stop the SEC drooling. :)

The only mistake the B1G has made thus far is including Rutgers. Everything else the B1G has done in regards to adding members has been a homerun.

Would have liked to see Pitt, or a Virginia school added instead of Rutgers.

Apparently you aren't aware of how many times you have to tell a Nebraska fan that their program has been middle of the road for the past several years before it finally starts to sink in. I'm sorry, but I'm just not going to stop ridiculing them for naming their defense when it's been record setting for all the wrong reasons.

Looks like poster to me. Appears that more have said the opposite, wouldn't you say?

What's your opinion on the matter?

My opinion?

Who cares about Debby?!

(Obviously the Hawkeye freeboard, though. I frequent/lurk on many Big Ten boards...the obsession over Nebraska is so much higher on this board than anywhere else...LMAO)

Understand why you are over here gopherhole.com is hysterical.

Hey look - it's ANOTHER Nub thread by the insecure hawkeye freeboard posters!

LMAO
At least Nebraska is a worthy foe, the Gophers on the other hand have not been a worthy foe pretty much since the leather helmet days. Go read your Gopher forums, I think you will find that the Gophers insecurity complex of Iowa far outweighs ours of Nebraska. Ahh Dano, your ignorance does make me laugh, especially with your weak Troll attempts. I will say this, go to the Husker board with your weak trolling and see how long it takes till your banned. At least your still welcome here, pathetic as it is

Really well I'm LMAO at you; a fan of a program whose fans state at home FB and BB games how much they "hate Iowa" at virtually all home games

If the Big 10 keeps adding more Big 12 teams Iowa's schedule is going to look like an old Big 8 team. Nebraska was a good addition to the conference and besides it's priceless when we beat them to watch their fans squirm and wiggle. That is a butthurt fanbase when the Hawks have scoreboard on them.

one of the most popular radio talk shows in Omaha make fun of husker nation and once when I talked with one of the hosts about this his response was " because it's so much fun and it's so easy "
they were brought in for their academics and their sellout streak .. oh wait a minute, those two are fraudulent reasons .. my bad

Actually, of course, Iowa State would be an excellent fit for the Big Whateveritisthisweek.
