Your 1st point makes no sense. It doesn't matter if they don't have another athlete for the spot the qualifier had passed. If Cal knows that his kid hasn't practiced he should be able to pull his name in time for an alternate to go to nationals. If you are right, and he was not practicing, then not pulling his 125 pounder in time for a replacement was bush league.
That's even more nonsensical. Plenty of guys have not practiced prior to nationals and then given it a run. Josh Kindig as a recent example. Wasn't Dustin Schlatter another? Cael does not owe that opportunity to the 34th guy on some other team who didn't qualify on his own merit. He owes it to his own wrestler.

Is that like Brands not giving full releases for 2nd stringers to find a starting spot elsewhere? Appears you live in a glass house too.
What? Those two topics are completely different. You might note that I have not commented on that topic because I can see both sides of that coin and don't really have a strong opinion. Back to this topic. J Rob did it right.

You said that he couldn't practice for two months after nationals. That's not a close call.

You were talking about bush league where coaching decisions impacted guys seeing mat time. I was giving examples of such.

Where did the glass house come from? Where did I ever defend a bush league move by any coaching staff? I think you might have me confused with someone else.

Could you at least draw a picture?

Glad you finally were able to say something original that hasn't already been said.

That's the problem.

It's been said over and over, and still never heard.

So why would anyone bother getting original when you refuse to hear or accept the basic premise.

I get it, you just want to be left alone in denial. BWI would be an excellent place to reside if that's what you want.

Made a trip over to the RU board and now looks like the insider is saying if NS wrestles this year it will be back at Penn State and he wants to wrestle. He claims Cael will not accept the waiver thing...What a dam mess this turned out to be...
No dog in the fight just want what is best for NS. cannot understand why the kids always have to take the short end of stuff..

"Cael will not accept the waiver thing?" WTH does that even mean?

Good grief. If he didn't have the resolve to risk sitting out a year, I am not sure what he was doing this all for. A simple Google search by the Surianos would have let them know that missing a year of eligibility was the most likely outcome of transferring to Rutgers. What a joke.

I couldn't imagine going back to PSU after all of this.

Why not go to Viriginia Tech or Lehigh? Both have better lightweights than Rutgers and he can go next year if he wants. I'm really surprised VT hasn't become a player in this with Molinaro there.

You are assuming Nick did not want to continue wrestling at Penn State. Your assumption would be incorrect.

It could be several of his teammates have had lengthy conversations with Nick and know better than most everybody else what has been going on and as a friend have his back.
I doubt very much that there will be any issues as far as being accepted by the pack as we move forward.

Interesting assertion on your part. Some would probably disagree with you. But as we continually see the P$U supporters have better insights.
I would think I have at least a slightly better insight to the PSU program than a Hawk fan does.

Based on your post, I'll tell you what I'm assuming now. It came down to money.

Let me spit-ball a slush fund conspiracy theory here: wrestlers are promised money based on their finish. Nick was in line for some cash but got injured. He wants his money to show what he was before the injury.
