She also supported the confederate flag. Lots of Indians think they are white and marry only white people--as she has. I don't agree with that assessment since I've been called the N word many a time. I feel sorry for her.

Or she was speaking what she really feels about the question. Not surprising a troglodyte like yourself could not see that was a softball question she should have easily knocked over fence. That is the problem with MAGA though, she froze and worried more about not upsetting them and gave a terrible response.
Thought it was common knowledge that her parents immigrated from India.
Well, now you do. Nikki (middle name?) is her preferred name and Haley is her husbands last name.No. I had no idea. I dont pay much attention to South Carolina politics.
It is quite simple really; they cannot catch him because they are not him. As unbelievable and insanely pathetic as it may be, at this point Donald Trump quite literally owns the Republican party, and will continue to do so until he is effectively incapacitated and/or removed from the picture. Let's just hope that happens sooner rather than later. So . . .
DeSantis thinks slavery had a good side and Haley seems not to think it was very important.
Yet they can't catch Trump. Not pandering enough? Not crazy enough?
woman of color
noun
pluralwomen of color
: a woman whose skin pigmentation is other than and especially darker than what is considered characteristic of people typically defined as white (see WHITE entry 1 sense 2a) : a woman who is of a race (see RACE entry 1 sense 1a) other than white or who is of mixed race
… Sen. Kamala Harris of California, will become the first woman of color to accept a major party's vice presidential nomination on Wednesday.—Steve Peoples
In reality the 19th Amendment failed to enfranchise thousands of American women of color—Black, Asian, Latina and Native American.—Anna Bloom
Why does she have a problem saying the S word?
Just wait until the leader of your party starts to go after her. Trump will dust off his Obama playbook as soon as she looks like more of a threat. I assume he's working on his clever zingers about her name right now.I guess the D smear machine has targeted a strong woman of color.
Deplorable yet so predictable.

As long as you use the right blanket terms and do not directly acknowledge the human rights violations associated with the specific "tradition" in question, then it's ok.I don’t disagree with her.
The tradition in the south was to keep black people as property and denied their rights as humans.
So….yeah….the Civil War was fought over these quaint and often misundertood traditions.
You mean like Biden? FFS. There is no one running more ready to be President IMO.Not quite ready for prime time!

Deplorable.
Slavery is alive and well in this century, as is unsafe child labor. Why are politicians getting questions on something that was eradicated by Republicans 160 years ago?

Should have been an easy question, especially for someone governing a state in the south, and who represents the party that was in favor of ending slavery, at the time.A leftwing plant asking about a war that happened over 155 years ago.

I know he’s trying to, but he isn’t clever or witty enough to pull it off. He might also be MAGA curious. You know he is phuqing with you, right?

As evidenced by your moniker, you are saying this as someone who has no knowledge about the South. I have lived in North Carolina for more than 30 years. It is remarkable how important "a war that happened over 155 years ago" is to a huge segment of the population here. The Sons of Confederate Veterans organization belongs to our local Chamber of Commerce; its representative attends all events in uniform. About five years ago, I attended a peaceful rally in front of our county courthouse urging the relocation of the huge Confederate monument that has sat right in front of the courthouse steps for 100 years. The city had to bring in about 25 cops midway through the proceedings to protect us from a quite surly mob of rednecks that appeared capable of violence. Like Nikki Haley, our county commissioners have to pander to these rednecks, as they make up a huge portion of their "base." The county ended up installing a garish, 10-foot-high fence around the monument to protect it--rather than moving it to a less-controversial location.A leftwing plant asking about a war that happened over 155 years ago.
So dumb.
LOL get a fvcking mirror, dipshitlucas with his faux outrage in high gear today. Always aggrieved. Always looking to be outraged.
No one is surprised by your mediocre trollingI'm surprised you're not calling out the blatant misogyny and racism in this thread.
There's a reason why she goes after Biden in her ads. She is scared shitless of Trump.Just wait until the leader of your party starts to go after her. Get back to me when she stumbles on a stage and multiple other places.Nikki is trying too hard to triangulate, and the frustration she showed at the question demonstrated a lack of poise when she whined, "What do you want me to say about slavery"?
