Wildcats up 20-7 at halftime even with their QB leaving the game. I have to be honest, I did not see that coming. This would be a good win for the Big Ten west division, and does nothing but help Iowa's strength of record in the eyes of the committee.

This is the only game going the way I want it to right now (other than Florida trailing Vanderbilt at the half). Northwestern doing well definitely helps our resume and takes some of the sting out of Pitt stumbling against ND.

Not so fast my friend. Cats are trying to piss down their leg on this one.

Go cats! Chance for the FG to win it.

This is impossible. We beat NW, and the sportscasters said we would be behind OSU,MSU,Michigan, and PSU in the East.

Iowa is at least better than PSU and MSU. NU handed them points and left 7 points out on the field and still beat PSU.

I don't understand Penn State's defense. They obviously have a pass-rush ... so you think that might also translate to run D as well. And yet Justin Jackson torches them for around 180 yards.

Definitely a good win by Northwestern ... but Penn State still is a bit of an enigma in the Big 10 east.

PSU has a good front four, so NU pulled guards, sealed the edge with Vitale and ran all day on them to the outside.

FYI....the 'mighty' BigTen East is 6-7 vs. the 'weak' BigTen West division, with 3 to play:

OSU @ Illinois
Nebraska @ Rutgers
Indiana @ Purdue

Doubtful that the East sweeps those, so fairly likely the divisions will end up 8-8, or the West will end up 9-7 vs. the more powerful East......
