WTF. Dude from Illinois at the end was a total douche. Playing defense when we are running out the clock and then shoves an Iowa player...
michigan is not as good as Last year's Michigan. Just keep that Freshman with another name I can't spell from going off.

When Tyler plays like that we have a chance to beat 80% of the teams in college basketball. He was actually very engaged working hard making spectacular plays. That’s what we are going to need going forward.

Anyone who remembers the Krush "sneaking in" to CHA in the Alford/Lick days would agree with this. They can always be knocked down another peg without guilt.
That’s because he got a few dunks. I wish his effort didn’t rely on that happening. But yes would be nice to have an active and engaged Cook.
Agree, he needs to hang around the rim, rebound and finish. You can't run an offense through him, but he can work if he doesnt get the double. Sometimes he gets the ball in the post and decides hes putting up a shot no matter what. Thats bad Cook. He passed well out of that tonight.
Moss is the same way, but probably more extreme. Moss is pretty darn good when he hits some shots early the game. I wish we had more steady Eddie’s like Joe but it is what it is.
Joe had a fantastic game. Played great defense, grabbed a bunch of key rebounds and made a bunch of sneaky plays.
That's what I'm eluding to, Illinois football was great in the early 90's and had resurgence in the mid 00'S. Their basketball program had a run from the 80's until the mid 00's and completely fell off after Bill Self.
Illini shot 4 FTs and we shot 11. We had 25 assists, wow. Only 8 TOs. Keep up the good work guys.

I love watching Joe. That one possession at beginning of 2nd half where the Illini picked up like 5 fouls 3-4 were caused by Joe’s aggressiveness and offensive rebounding.
Yes, Moss is more extreme because with Moss, if he doesn’t hit early and play with confidence, he’s basically useless. Cook is still good enough to give a little something even when the effort isn’t there.
