So the forecast then. Thanks.Well a forecast has been around for as long as I can remember and I don’t recall any forecast closing my old high school the day before that forecasted day.
Post videos of you making a snow angel or it didn't happen.Class 5 Kill Storm bearing down on Iowa today. The one benefit seems to be it's cut down on the political rallies today, with today being the one day in the last 6 months that Ron DeSantis hasn't been in Iowa.

Gonna be a tough bike commute tomorrow!
Hope the dark orange area shifts away from me.
I don't know about Joe but I sure as hell am. Mine, not his though.Joe Winters must be covered in his own jizz.
Yeah I saw that….unreal. It’s been a LONG time since we have had a storm dump that much.JFC, the latest from the QC NWS now has Iowa City in the 13"-18" range and CR in the 11-16" range. I hope they are way overestimating this amount, probably looking at multiple blower sessions if accurate. If we do get that much I'm praying it's the very light fluffy snow type.
I'm pretty sure he's getting a piece of Rebecca Kopelman.Joe Winters must be covered in his own jizz.
He's married with kids.I'm pretty sure he's getting a piece of Rebecca Kopelman.
40 MPH gusts, ride downwind. Take the fare free Iowa City bus up wind, ride downwind. Rinse and repeat...Studded 5 inch floaters from 45nrth, 2-3 psi. Easy peasy (and fun actually!). I'll be out all day hopefully - not commuting!
So? She’d keep you warm on a cold January night. He's married with kids.
Just the way she likes it.Some wet, heavy snow coming down hard in CR. It didn't start with some light snow and slowly got heavier. When it started, it started hard and has continued since then. Not looking forward to the drive tomorrow
Thank God I've got nowhere to be until - at least - mid-morning Wednesday.Looking at a national radar...I don't believe the low has even left Oklahoma yet. I did see earlier today that the system had slowed down. Maybe that's why they upped tomorrow's totals and overall storm totals.
We got a LONG way to go here.
I think there will be some isolated spots that might hit 20 inches with this storm. Not widespread obviously, but where narrow heavy bands go through, it might happen.Looking at a national radar...I don't believe the low has even left Oklahoma yet.
