*****Official #16 North Carolina at #3 IOWA Game Thread*****

I look for Garza to get the ball down low first few plays to get him going. If NC shuts him down like they have, kick it out to the 3 point shooters. We get Garza going and it’s game over.

As other have said, need to shut down NC’s transition offense on the defensive side.

This is going pretty much like I expected . UNC is going to do whatever they can to limit Garza. Shooters keep shooting. They will have to soften up inside if Iowa keeps making their 3s

This might be Garza's toughest opponent all year. UNC has multiple really tall guys to throw at him. But that's fine, because it's pick your poison. Iowa can keep shooting 3s over that length and live with the result. Far better than turnovers and it lets us get back on defense when we miss.

yeah, UNC has three 6'10 guys and a 7ft guy? It really has made it tough on Garza with the double teams. Any team that can take away Garza is probably going to have Iowa's number. We'll see how 2nd half goes. I think Garza probably getting frustrated, but if anyone is tough enough mentally to come back in 2nd half, it is luka garza.

Time for Fran to get out coached.
