Petras is the most inept QB we have. Has zero awareness at all. We should just run every down if he is our QB.

I’ve never seen anyone with so little pocket awareness and who just completely wilts under pressure like Petras.

That's as much on the line as it is on Petras. But he should have got rid of it sooner. Someone had to be open.
He was gonna throw into 1 on 1 coverage towards the end zone.
OL didn't hold up against the blitz and Petras didn't step up enough in the pocket because he wanted to make the throw.

First Quarter:
1) inaccurate pass to Lachey (Luke somehow caught it)
2) over throw on pass to sideline (Iowa penalty on the play was denied)
3) over throw on another pass to sideline (Bruce was well covered); that series ended up with a 1st down any way
4) lack of pocket awareness resulted in his FUMBLE

Exactly. If Petras was an underclassman and the future, I’d maybe get it. But he’s a three-year starter and a senior.
