Starting to see Nebraska's game plan against the run.

Put 5 or 6 guys on the line so that the OL has to account for them, and then as soon as the handoff is made the LBs and safeties come crashing in free from behind.

That's why play action should work. But the reason why it hasn't is because without the threat of the run, that makes it easier for the defense to guess when the PA is coming and anticipate it in coverage.
That's where your counters and jet sweeps need to be dusted and brought off the shelf.........
 
It should have been a shift and a hard count to try to draw them, then use the timeout. They are coming off the LOS hard. Give them a chance to jump.

You’d almost think most teams practice something like that. Doubt Iowa does.

Yep. Play action up the seam. Or just one bad fit and it's a long TD run.
 
God and we thought we had offensive woes. No worries Frost will get his recruits soon.
