You can insert a player for an Iowa opponent for EVERY game. There is certainly a bad trend with this for the Hawks

If they call that on Trimble on Iowa's half of the court then it's a foul on Jok by that Bender dude.
Iowa gets called for a foul every time they hedge like that. Yet the bigs leading scorer doesn't get that call in his favor. I don't get it.

Jok shouldn't be allowed to do anything but catch and shoot. Just let him cherry pick. Play 4 on 5.
Those officials sucked the last three minutes. I am not going to debate if they were fouls or not. What I am saying is if you call one then you have to call the other.
The best lineup was Bohannon, ellingson, baer, wagner, kriener and playing zone.
It's wasn't a foul but they literally made a phantom call from out of position 98 feet from the basket on a guy that was trapped. That's what fran is mad about.

This. Then he TRYS to get a T, because of the terrible calls the last 2 mins and cant. But the refs didn't make Jok leave Trimble wide open for 3 or play weak with the ball
Fran being mad is warranted at the end of the game. However, they didn't lose because of it. The first few minutes of each half did. You can't shoot that poorly and expect to win.
Big whoop. The announcers clearly showed several bad calls in the last few mins. If Jok would have been on the bench tho, Iowa wins. PERIOD

Jok apparently is hurt, but if that is the case, fran is pulling a KF doing a disservice to rest of the team. As to Pemsl and Cook, they don't have any excuses for not playing defense, not rebounding. Fran played a lot of Pemsl + Cook and when Kriener + Wagner was more effective.
How does saratore make the Baer follow call. He's on sideline opposite bench. He has no angle on Baer. Such a piss poor bailout call. Even in iowas favor announcers talked about how waited to see if cooks shot went in if going to call a foul or not.
I give him credit for continuing to try to find the right combo and then finally getting it, but you're right. why not go back to it when the game is on the line after the last TV timeout? Jok had proven he wasn't at his best all game. Whether he is hurt or not, I don't care, get him out of the game. Moss or Ellingson would have been a better choice at that point.
I agree of the fouls at the end, but disagree about the first few minutes of each half--it was the last three minutes of the game and it was JOK (and Fran for leaving him in there) who cost Iowa the win.
