Forgot to mention about my walk at ANGC- The reconfigured tee box on 13 is insane. From our view it looked like it was 30 feet above 12 green and you had to hit a fade/slice to avoid a bush/tree while driving the ball. Also, again perspective, it looked like you they had to hit over 12 green. Not sure what it looked like before, but the view we had was just crazy.

Our man Zach's (and puhleeze don't tell me he's a Bulldog) all around game is a little off, but especially short game. Not that he was going to contend, but I bet he does better tomorrow.

I could use a lil more scoring from Brooks Friday for my league and the roughly 20 odd bets I made late Wednesday night.

It’s actually @Viv_Savage that worked at Augusta, even though we both have a decent amount of golf course experience.
I was lucky enough to intern at Congressional when they hosted a tour event and volunteered at the John Deere Classsic a few times. In those cases (can’t speak for Augusta), things looked greener on TV than they actually were. To have greens rolling where they need to be for pro events, they have to be firm, fast and lean. Very little watering, and the last dose of fertilizer would be done weeks in advance so the grass would barely be growing and the leaf blade nice and thinned out for the tourney.
Filters on cameras can do wonders!
Woods gimpy and Hatton grouchy. This is a nice lil breakfast before the main course.
Yeah-he really had no shot at it but if he was going to pull it off, it would involved not having a rain delay cause him to have to finish the last 5 holes on the next day when he was playing good. He is just too gimpy and old to have to pause that momentum and then come back and play 23 holes.
