Allow him? He made the challenge and set all the rules to his favor, or so he thought. Trump just went into the horse shoe like the coach at Michigan and beat Ohio State.
They HAVE to replace him. He has lost the popular vote in both trys but Trump has actually OVERPERFORMED based off polls and expectations going in. If they are tied or if Trump is a little ahead it's not hard to believe he is actually way ahead of Biden.
This is very likely untrue. Polls have over estimated Republican performance ever since Dobbs. Dems have out performed the polls in most elections the last few years.
So much ad material from last night and with Trump now leading Biden with cash on hand there could be a tsunami of ads like this. Trump and RNC fundraising is also going to get a boost from last night.

They could try to dump him now but that comes with a price because it essentially admits the other side was right the whole time.
It would be very different if he would have just chosen to be a 1 term president, admitted it was tiring and that someone younger should probably take the reins.
I don't see the MAGA crowd ever letting go of power peacefully no matter what the votes say. They will probably just run Don Jr and use the military to ensure he wins.

The problem is Joe isn't capable of that at this stage in life. Joe from just 4 years ago would have been all over it.
I think that's why they scheduled this for June.
