Don't get mad at me. You're the one hoping someone shooting 15% from 3 on the season to keep shooting. You should be mad at yourself for such a bad take.
The rebounding is what we really need to improve imo. Even last year against Purdue, it was their dominance on the boards and second chances that did us in
Exactly what I was thinking. Purdue has a great coach. Well spoken and smart. I usually hate the opposing coach but not Painter.
Just curious why you feel JBO “needs” to start. I really like him and he’s been great at Iowa, but I’m not opposed to giving Joe T the nod depending on the opponents lineup. JBO got 29 min to Joe T’s 11 tonight, I feel like Joe T has proven he deserves a larger share of the minutes at this point this season.
I remember when Garza was a sophomore and idiots on here were screaming for him to stop shooting 3s. You were probably one if the idiots. Garza shot 28% from 3 that season. Nunge shot 34% as a frosh. He’s had a rough start to the season but I have no doubt his shot will come around. Connor and Nunge will have to make some shots or Luka will just be doubled. Nunge “hanging in lane” like some posters want just drags his defender to Luka. I’m not mad at you. I just think you are an idiot.
Chemistry of the team. JBO is an integral part of the make up of this team, JT will be in the coming years but it is JBO now. He does need to look for clean shots and concentrate on assists. He is one of the leaders all time for Iowa in assists. Garza is an assist machine.
agree on all, hard not to like a guy that comes across with humility and class.
