Play by play guy still doesn't know what an unassisted double play is, maybe Danan doesn't either or just didn't catch it either time. Catching a line drive and throwing out the runner isn't unassisted. Catching a line drive and stepping on a base yourself is unassisted.

Marthy Sutherland in the postgame said the key to this win was getting runs off their starter (starting pitching is not their strong point).

He said Gable is in at 2nd base for a reason; he had 1 double play (should have had 2).

He said he's just happy to look up and see that they scored more than UNC.

He said if Iowa can get to 2-0 tomorrow night they are in the driver's seat to winning this regional.
