The two Hawks I had complete confidence in getting bonus both ran out of gas and settled for the decision.

yep - Lee and Kem just decided they had enough wrestling for the day. 3rd period was a waste of time. But the one thing I noticed about some of the Iowa guys ... is that they hang their heads low when the bring the knee up. That might turn into a cradle against better wrestlers. I started noticing this at midlands
MD was within reach pretty early. Just keep winning and build the gas tank coming off injury.

Normally after Iowa wrestlers finish the match, they just run back to the tunnel. I found it interesting that both Brands stopped Marinelli and talked to him briefly. This was a big win for Bull so I wonder if they were boosting his confidence. It's too bad 165 is such a deep weight.
Gunther less impressive than Smith. Smith was on the legs a few times.
No he can’t. You have to score to win. He doesn’t wrestle to win. He wrestled like he’s scared. Gives up TD to an exhausted opponent. Why, you might ask? Because his opponent pulled the trigger.
Hard to believe Young couldn't do a better job at 74 than Gunther. I know Gunther won the wrestle off and is bigger, but there's just no excitement there.
