Well the ACLU exists to file a motion the minute after it becomes law. Therefore, the likelihood of zero damage is 100%.

I would agree with but the power level has tipped too far to the right with the social and broadcast media, the states legislatures, etc.. The result will be loss of individual rights and eventual autocracy.

The right will protect itself to maintain governance.

Uh……..the south is not reliably republican. Not for a few election cycles (arguably since 2000).

- North Carolina is officially a “purple” state and is now regularly contested. R’s and D’s have both held conventions in NC to sway it
- Georgia - simply refer to the last cycle alone and demographics of the greater Atlanta area
- Florida is literally the crappiest of the election crapshoots. If something crazy is gonna happen, it will (and has) in that state.

NC, GA, and FL account for an overwhelming majority of the South’s overall population and safe to say, none of it is safe for both R’s and D’s.
