I believe Dake was fine. If he was off or his strength was low he wouldn’t have tried to outmuscle the guy. I believe he just plain got out freestyled. Reminds me of a high school dual with Russia in Waterloo in the 90s. Our guys came out all muscled up and tried to bully the Russians and got embarrassed with crotch lifts and other exposures.

We must have seen the same dudes on tour...they came to Arizona and beat the hell out of Team USA. Most of the Russians looked a beer and a steak away from being a truckdriver. But as we've gotten better at technique, they've gotten better at cardio and physique. Folks on Twitter are using the cut as the narrative but the Russian put up most of his points early.
It could only help his WWE alure if he continued to represent team USA.
