And seemingly almost every team does that now.Why do teams settle for 25-30 foot jump shots when the game is tied and you have the ball with the last shot to win the game?
Stupid, stupid coaching by North Carolina.

I think I have seen more people foul out in this game than I have seen the whole season combined watching Iowa.
Hoping I'm wrong. First time watching Baylor this season, screw emUNC isn't winning this if it goes to OT
i am only watching scores and tuning in at the end if a game is closeKudos to you guys. The NCAA tournament is non-existent to me now.
To the guy under the basket who forgot his ladder? Hard to believe UNC may still win this…Where was he passing that to?
Yeah and they could have called twice that many. Again, this isn't what BB was meant to be. Contact on every shot, before, during or after...53 fouls and 62 free throw attempts combined for the 2 teams.
I hate this kind of ball. It just reminds me that our ( even when were playing well ) brand of ball will never beat this NC / Baylor brand of shitball, grab, hold, push, foul, foul again till the ref have to call something. This isn't basketball, **** this crap. Everyone gonna have CRT from this kind of game...

Michigan State and Rutgers play this way as well.
Teams now have a philosophy that the refs can't/won't call a foul every time.
I'm with you, fran. Normally I watch everything I can from start to finish, but the Richmond game killed something inside of me and I have turned into a casual viewer.i am only watching scores and tuning in at the end if a game is close
otherwise, the only full game i have watched is Iowa/Richmond
Hero ball bullsh**.You need two and that is what you draw up? Oof.
Yes, the Izzo way. Get the fouls out of the way in the 1st half, knowing the refs won't want to foul a player out and will swallow their whistles. Mayer for Baylor was averaging a foul every 6 minutes of play, but managed to go the last 16 minutes of regulation without another foul, and never backed off with his aggressive play.
I posted on the main board a live look at teams practicing this new style of defense that we're seeing in CBB:You wonder how Iowa averaged 100 points a game in 1970? They called fouls. You had to keep your hands off. Now its the degree of physicality that has to be discerned by the referees. It's not their fault. NCAA has determined that grab ball is preferable to freedom of movement. One on one play vs. movement and passing cuts. I hate this new game...

It’s so bad and it’s hero ball. Have to start with about 8-9 seconds and try to get to the lane, if not at least launch early enough for a possible follow up (without fouling on rebound, which is the only reasonable explanation to wait longer). And seemingly almost every team does that now.
The other issue is how defensive all supporting parties get when others make a stink about the way the game is played today. It's pretty simple the reason why. I'm watching the in-between games coverage on CBS right now. They haven't brought up how the game just completed was called. Instead, they're talking about how great of a game it was. In other words, that style of play is being promoted. So, the game is going to continue to be played that way.
I'd say 3, maybe. How many Big Ten teams make the sweet 16?...any guesses
I'm gonna bandwagon on the Aggies of NM St. Las Cruces is pretty this time of year. The Oregon Mts outside of town are spectacular.

Only TikTok videos I'd be posting are of me eating it on a MTB.Looks like a nice place to post some TikTok dance videos.
No, and either do the refs!remember when there was supposed to be freedom of movement?
