It seems to always work out that way. That's basketball.
No way to sugar coat that Richmond loss. They suck. But I guess hawks sucked just a little more
Iowa had a bad game. They hardly suck.
I agree iowa had a terrible game. I just don't see anything special with Richmond. Looks like they l had a nice 4 game run to get into the dance tho.
If hawks could make a shot it would have been a double digit loss. In my opinion they suck
Michigan on their way to becoming a Sweet 16 team.
The tournament seems to be going upside down from what I was expecting. They don't call it March Madness for nothing.
Providence has a 30-point lead. You'd almost think they were playing a 6th-place team from a mid-major conference.
How can a team that 'barely' made the field beat a team like Tennessee who was scorching hot after winning their conference tourney and blowing out first round team? Tennessee shoots 41% and 11% from three ...
Isn't it like 5 years in a row? I just puked typing that.
And what's been their average record in that span? Probably better off playing .500 ball during the conference and save yourself for the big dance.
richmond getting mauled by providence is hardly surprising. It was expected in the same way that the post loss excuses were included pumping up richmond and how "good" they really were.
Reality today is that richmond is pretty much what their regular season conference finish said they were, a mid-tier A10 team.

Yep - that's exactly what I was getting at in my previous post. Richmond blew their wad to get into the tourney but ultimately they are just an average A10 team that played like it during the dance
It will go down as one of the worst losses in the NCAA for Fran. Had to happen at the worst year bc I really thought Providence was a good draw. Of course it wouldn't have mattered if hawks continued to shoot like garbage in the 2nd round anyway.
I think that's what sucked the most. If it was just getting beat while hawks played well it would have been easier to accept
Memphis 38 - Gonzaga 28 with 1:13 left in first half. I guess Gonzaga must not be trying hard.
