Way too early, but can't wait to see how the Des Moines area media Big12 homers, and clone fans will explain away this one if this holds up. All the Oklahoma love this week has been sickening. Guess they will have to go back to blaming the officials.
Thank God the cameras found Hield's mom in the concourse so we can see her reactions.
Remains to be seen what happens Monday night, but last Saturday's South regional championship between Nova & Kansas might have been the national championship game in and of itself.
Iowa's loss to Villanova isn't looking so bad right now compared to what's happening to Oklahoma.
If ok keeps hoisting up 3s and missing them this could be 40+. Wow what a performance. Hope their big guy is not hurt too bad.
But you figure when Wright pulls his starters at the 5:00 mark, the walk-ons are probably gonna shoot in the low 60s at best...
It's amazing how good teams can look when they simply shoot the ball well, Villanova has been blessed with terrific shooting during their NCAA run and while I know they are a very good team, Hot shooting makes them look like a phenomenal team.
Remember when we kept hearing how the Big 12 tournament is tougher to win than the NCAA tournament? Um.... ya.
Coaching move of the game is when Wright took the timeout before the under 16 media timeout. That was a 4 minute stoppage of play for commercials between Villanova's timeout & the media timeout before Oklahoma saw the ball again just when they had and cut it to single digits. That stoppage of play killed any momentum Oklahoma had.
Waiting for the first Sooner fan to call Villanova classless for running up the score
