Everyone knows Bo Ryan was pushed to retired one year early by the school because of the affair he had.

If Iowa has another coach that lasts ten years there better be a couple sweet 16s in there, otherwise that's too long.

The judgment was made on the lawsuits prior to his retirement and had no merit.

He has also stated the affair had nothing to do with his retirement.

The obsession with longevity over results is the Iowa brand for quite some time. Do you think they're ready to move from that? I'm hoping so, but not convinced. Yet

Lute left because it was time to go! Iowa fan lost a lot of its “awe” for Lute when he blew the Wichita State game in the NCAAs… Lute couldn’t count how many TOs he used.. Plus he blew a 20 point second half lead. The worst coaching job ever done by an Iowa coach. Lute was a Class A whiner, too. A good coach and recruiter but not without flaws.

You are definitely wrong about Lute. He did a great job at Iowa and would have kept the Hawkeyes in the upper echelon of the Big Ten.

No left because of the affair with his massage therapist that he took with him on recruiting trips. He cut a deal with Barry—make Gard coach—-Barry said OK and you never step foot on campus again. Bo was a tool.
