This made me laugh...then I cried a little because it's true.
lets see the D gave up 65 yards rushing and less than 300 total yards and yet you want Phil fired?

Or a tougher AD who would fire Ferentz. But, yeah, Barta has to go, too. He's the bonehead that gave KF that contract with the insane buyout.
Hell no they can't! His buyout (per USA Today last month) would be "in excess of 22.5 million" if fired this year.
I thought they've been pretty good all season. Still able to cheer and play music all day with a straight face....have to admire their spunk. I say we keep'em.
No but GB needs to go so a new AD can put pressure on KF to change his coaching style or be forced out. It's as simple as that.
The Wisconsin program is successful because Barry Alveraz lets all of his coaches know that they must succeed or you won't be here. And he sure as hell is involved in the football program to make sure they continue to win. BB couldn't handle his micromanaging of him and the program so he left, same with Andersen.
Some coaches can handle the pressure from the demands from their AD, some can't. And some AD's like Gary Barta don't have the stones to force their coaches to do what needs to be done unless they are women, then he fired them when not warranted. GB must go.

Ask to retire- you bet.
If he says "no"....we are stuck. Too ugly to fire a quality person who has been a great representative and kept the program clean. But I fear we are faced with a situation where KF's top priority is BF's career and setting him up. Very difficult situation.

Yes, but it won't happen, and Ferentz won't quit now. Ferentz should break Fry's record for wins next season.
Ferentz: 141-97 (86-69 Big10) (Better than .500, but mediocre Big10 record for #10 salary in college football.)

DONT GO TO GAMES AND THIS WILL HAPPEN. if we see 20,000 average attendance next he's gone. That's the only way this happens. Otherwise this is a meaningless poll due to the contract and fans attending
Damn shame the interim AD didn't take the bull by the horn and pull the trigger. I was hoping she'd still be in the role come end of season.
yeah he made a terrible hire in Fran and a major blunder in hiring Heller for the baseball team who just brought home the Silver Medal from the World University Games as team USA. the only team from the US to get the Silver Medal let alone reach the Medal round.
also getting the new practice facility built and new FB Complex built. insert emoticon of shaking head.
If he will not get rid of BF at OC after the worst offensive year I can remember, then YES fire him!

I cannot figure out how he can be so stupid otherwise, it is the only explanation.
