Proctor?

I guarantee those saying they don't want him would quickly change their tune if he were to enter the portal. 18 year olds and social media often lead to poor choices, plus if you were in his shoes, and Iowa "fans" were talking about your family and you personally, what would you say?
Nothing, my mother raised me right.

It cracks me up when people use statements of certainty regarding matters of opinion. If there is any guarantee when it comes to an opinion, it's that not everyone will feel the same way.

Considering the alternatives at OT, I think 99 percent of fans would welcome having a much better player at OT. The people that go to trouble to bitch about Proctor disrespecting Iowa on a discussion board are more outliers. Most of the 70,000 fans that attend Kinnick aren't on this thread.

I would also venture there is not much chance Proctor would go back to Iowa unless Iowa somehow came up with the most NIL money out there for an OT and that isn't happening. Proctor is a professional athlete at this point.

This! Personally, I don't think there's any positive vibes left between Proctor, KF, or the fans. You can go other places but the way he did it was about as bad as it could get. He should stay at Bama or transfer somewhere else outside of Iowa if that's what he wants to do.
He could play for MY team!

Isn’t football about WINNING games?? If my team’s talent is better than your teams talent, I will win most games, all things feign equal. Proctor ain’t smoke and mirrors.

Where Successful Linemen Are Drafted

This will likely come as no surprise, but the best place to draft successful linemen is in the first round. Over the last 10 years, an average of 6 linemen per year were selected in the first round. Of the 61 first round picks, 10 went on to be First Team All-Pros. While this 16.4% rate of finding an elite lineman might seem low, consider that this is two-thirds of all of the All-Pro linemen drafted in the last decade. Two second-round picks went on to become All-Pros. After that, just 3 players over the final five rounds of the draft became All-Pros.

5.5 avg OL drafted each year in 1st round
2.2 avg OT drafted each year in 1st round

Nice positive attitude there Doc.
The offense will get better, and he could be a major part of it if he wanted to.
That's what everyone said after last season. Now luckily they can't get worse rankings wise but that's the only guarantee.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was looking around. In this day and age of nil, they're always shopping for a better offer. Why do you think you see so many people in the portal? They're all looking for a bigger better deal. Proctor would be no different.

I think there's a chance he still might come back to Iowa unless DeBoer convinces him to stay at Bama. I am in the crowd that would welcome him back. We'll certainly know in the coming weeks.

Sounds like Proctor is going to enter the portal.

KXNO discussion that there was a ton of smoke at Christmas break. He wasn't happy at Bama. He was almost 400lbs going into fall camp, which explains his slow start. According to Condon, the fences have been previously mended, but it is uncertain where it stands now.
