Shortly after Xavier tweeted that, he tweeted again for his new clothing line. I could absolutely be off, but I can't help but feel like his smiley tweet was related to the release of his clothing line.

Na, far too much smoke on this one. Eickholt mentioned on kxno the other day he wouldn’t crystal ball unless proctor went no contact.

I mean, we always hear about "smoke" when there's rumors about transfers or coaching hires, and they usually don't happen. I'd be more than happy for him to end up in a Hawkeye uniform, I just don't think Xavier's tweet was about Proctor. That's all.

Procter said he wanted to go somewhere to earn a spot rather than be handed a starting role/already be big man on campus. Yeah there might have been a big bag of money but I respect his explanation.
Given our OL woes the past few years, im happy if any serviceable OL came to us. Heck, we were giddy when Parker announced he was coming here and many penciled him in as a starter game 1. My crystal ball says Proctor > Parker. Depth is a good thing.

Cross your fingers folks. Getting Proctor back opens up the possibility of finally having an OL that has to compete and perform in order to be on the field. Proctor could push the entire line to another level.
