If you had him on ignore, like I do, you wouldn't have to fight with him. I've only seen one side, but I think you've kicked his butt, and now it's time to say goodbye. JMO of course.
They are being recruited by Oklahoma State and made official visit there. Not sure what other very high profile programs are after them besides Iowa and okyst.
You are the one that brought Cornell into this conversation. When presented with data that disproves your point you move the goalposts and infer psu, ok st, and Ohio st.
I think all of us understand your point. Iowa needs to do a better job recruiting. No one here will dispute that. But the fact that they are in on Jax, Bo, and the Randy’s squared is a good sign at this point in time. For what it’s worth I say we land three of the above four.

Wasn’t trying to beat a dead horse. I just find it odd that the fan base is still expecting to land 3-5 blue chips per class when it’s never happened in the TnT era. Then when presented with the fact that it’s not going to happen, you get attacked. Not to mention almost every year, someone’s plugging kids that we haven’t landed into lineups. The practice is just getting odd at this point.
Class of 2023. Kueter, Arnold, Jesuroga, Block, Petersen. Kueter and Arnold are blue chip recruits. So is Jesuroga but he went a different route.
I doubt that, because if you really did you would create your own future hammers line-up in the hope your positive energy helps to manifest the desired outcome.

I thank posters like you for reaffirming my stance.
But there is a team landing multiple blue chippers every year. And another headed in that direction. We’re not looking to do anything other than keep up with the Joneses.

I've been pretty outspoken about Iowa's recruiting and development woes. It's nice to get a couple blue chippers in the 2025 class but it needs to keep ramping up. I know nothing about the status of the guys you mentioned so I'd just be pretending to know something if I commented (just like most everyone else).
Dude. It’s a message board. It’s supposed to be fun. Most reasonable posters understand what’s reasonable with recruiting. I think it’s reasonable to think we’d get either both raineys, or one of Bo or Jax. I’d be over the moon if we got either Bo and Jax or Bo and both Raineys. Only disappointed if we get none.
Hopefully these unsigned guys see what the potential is from our lineup as is from 165 up and thinks they can be part of a really solid team that competes for a title.

This class coming in is an EXCELLENT class that is needed!!! NOT to leave any of these fine young men out, but IOWA has the #1 120 AND the #1 190 in the land!!! Several other very VERY good wrestlers are also in this class.
IF TnT can add to this class and or pick up a few transfers to round it out, all the better! That being said, stage TWOOOOO is to bring in the NEXT BIG HAUL and I believe this is where we fall behind. We can't have 1 good/great class every few or even couple of years!!! Has to be, WOW, DANG, GOLLY we just landed another EVERY YEAR!!!
Deluca and Ayala seem to give us the fire power we need to start, we also are starting to get the Heavy weights in good order. 141-157 is where we need more HAMMERS!!!
It is crazy to think about the line up needed to take out the great Krailure and F*** st!!!

Sounds like Rocky Elam is going to red shirt and transfer out next year to the highest bidder. That would allow Ludington a red shirt year.

So Elam not wrestling this year?? With Ludington and Miller true freshman, we really could use a good 1-2 year rental again at 197.
Why is Rocco leaving ?? Seem to be a 4 year starter at tOSU, and they have plenty of money to use. If this is true, he may end up at Oklahoma state with Plott leaving. Is he planning to finish the season or redshirt this year??

Welsh was rumored by Mineo to be in Stillwater last week. I don’t know how that isn’t a recruiting violation but I’m no expert. Mineo said Welsh is angry that he wasn’t allowed to wrestle off kharchla for the 174 spot this year.
But, I was told by wrestling media that DT wouldn’t tamper and would do things the “right way”. Also I’m confident you won’t hear a peep from the usual suspects on how much of a bag he’s going to get either.
I don’t know how they would be allowed to have him visit unless he was just talking to the bag men.
