I don't mind Fran giving guys a chance to see how they perform against good teams early in the season. But the reality is you can't play 10 guys. Keep it to 8 and when a game dictates 9 or 10, you play more.
Having said that, after a few games now it's time to shorten the bench a bit.
Pryce has a future, but those minutes right now need to go to somebody else.
Dembele scares the crap out of me on offense. He will be okay for a small stretch in the first half of games, but those minutes need to go to other posts in the second half.
I would play Harding more. He's the only guy that plays hard and consistent defense.
Honestly, if the starters (Perk, PMac) are going to play terrible defense and have no urgency, let the frosh play. I would bring Pmac's minutes down unless he's on. If Perkins isn't scoring, shrink his time. He is way better if he's getting points. If not, he loses interest and focus.
All in all, kind of what I thought without any elite recruits or additions. 9th in the Big Ten is probably right. Host an NIT game. Fran will exit.
