Can somebody explain the scoring to me in this match? Miller went up 8-4 with the TD. Then Realbuto escapes, 8-5, and gets a TD making it 8-7. Realbuto lets Miller up (should be 9-7 but still showed 8-7) and then attacks him and rives him to the edge of the mat and gets the TD to make it 9-9 (score showed Realbuto up 9-8 though). The RT point was locked for Miller so it should have been 10-9 Miller at the end of regulation. Why was the escape point not given to Miller before Realbuto last TD at the edge of the mat?Originally posted by sloehawk:
Choke of the day award goes to Ian Miller of Kent State. Leading 8-4, been great on his feet the whole way, then he starts to run, and gets beat in the process. I will never understand that.

Why do I suddenly feel like meatloaf? (Anyone?)
I made this point yesterday regarding the back points on Telford. At every level referees constantly will call backpoints way before the 45 degree angle is reached. It's infuriating.Originally posted by HawCory:
That first set of back points Bo Jordan got looked a little sketchy. If Sorensen would have gotten the same credit, he would have had a major.
Evans will wrestle first.Originally posted by HawCory:
Brooks vs Dean coming up on mat 3, I believe.
I didn't get my protractor out, but if I had to guess I would say it was about 82 degrees.Originally posted by FrontHeadlock2:

Gotta love those literal "cheap" tilts.Originally posted by HawCory:

Sounds right to me. Telford yesterday looked about 75. And things like that absolutely change the tenor of a match.Originally posted by HawCory:
