And I don't count a true freshman walk-on. Definitely need a starting portal QB. This let's Sullivan remain the back-up, Stratton as the 3rd stringer, Hank Brown can learn the system but still compete for 2nd or 3rd team and the younger Sullivan can redshirt.
I wonder what the hold up is with Gronowski. Can't be money.
Maybe he worries that Brendan Sullivan is QB1 in Kirk's mind? I am sure Lester has made it clear that is not the case but who knows at this point....

Yes, I am sure he is afraid to transfer to Iowa because he is afraid he can't beat out Brendan Sullivan.
Deciding whether to stay in school or head to the NFL. Doubt money is the problem. He will get paid more by us than the NFL at least for this one yr
