Should be a factor. Personally, I think anything under a mil, and a player should be considering the standard things they care about most (especially after taxes, agents, etc.). I believe there are very few at the college level worth a mil. JMO

Seems to me that at Iowa it does when listening to players talk about a team win or team loss or individual play.
But since NIL mostly it's become a semi pro developmental issue and mostly about how much money players can make
before going to the pros or not.
Yup. It's 2025 and Iowa is coming off a 2024 season where they still had the 130th ranked passing offense in college football after being a national punching bag for years. Anybody who believes this isn't a factor in attracting QB's and WR's lacks critical thinking skills.

I can’t imagine how hard it must be to recruit at NW right now. Aren’t they still 2-3 seasons away from their new stadium ready? If they get this SDSU QB over us, who has 1 year of eligibility remaining, I don’t know how that could be considered anything except a major fail for our offensive coaches, not to mention a condemnation of our offensive philosophy/reputation…
The Mizzou offense looks similar to what they run at PSU. That may have played a role in his decision.
While there’s truth there, I’m not going to shower him with praise like some posters for just getting Gronowski and Pribula on campus. Recruiting is a zero sum game, either you get the guy or you don’t.
