In the posts I've provided to you, the Committee outright states THEY did not have any control over the criteria provided to THEM.
Who do you think came up with those criteria for selections? Bugs Bunny?

Name calling…. Tactic for when slow Joe/Angel doesn’t have any facts to support them.Kind of obvious w/ your posting history.
You continue to assign an opinion to me with no support for it.Yes; it absolutely was.
The committee deferred to her; the committee did not "choose their own" criteria.
That was stated outright - the committee chair stated it outright - they could only decide based on the criteria provided TO them.
And yet, here you are, claiming the actual coaching staff AND coach had no influence or say in any of those criteria. They absolutely did.
You just said it was your name.Name calling
You've been "supporting" the folks here whining for pages, buddy. You continue to assign an opinion to me with no support for it.
Still trueIn the posts I've provided to you, the Committee outright states THEY did not have any control over the criteria provided to THEM.

Still false.Still true
So ‘picked for the coach’?Still false.
The coach directed the Committee on what she needed for her team.
Committee even stated they were putting together the best team "for the Coach".
You can deny that all you want, but it is how the system works.
Chosen under the direction OF the coach. So ‘picked for the coach’?
Not
‘By the coach’
Words have meanings.
So I picked out a birthday present for you.Chosen under the direction OF the coach.
Smh that I opened this thread again today.
I admit that I suffer fools poorly. Agree to disagree works when both sides have valid points.Always amazed how some people on here can’t just say “well, we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one”
A couple of years ago getting to 750k for the finals or all star game was the standard
And the Selection Committee told you outright that they do not determine the selection criteria. The Selection Committee Chair and USA Basketball have been very clear in their statements on who picks the team.
Feels like Groundhog Day. Slow Joe/Angel can keep throwing bricks at the back board all you want. And the Selection Committee told you outright that they do not determine the selection criteria.
Guess who does?
per the selection criteria put forth by (among others) the coach and coaches.'Selected by'....... pretty clear.......
I will continue to go with the actual quote rather than what you think or how you want to read something intoper the selection criteria put forth by (among others) the coach and coaches.
If the Coach said she wanted Clark on the roster, she'd have given them criteria to ensure that happened.
She did not - and in fact stated she "had never been in the trenches" w/ CC. That response indicates she ONLY wanted players who had played on teams she had coached in the past.
You've even posted links/comments, yourself, where the Selection Committee answered questions about Clark and stated "we could only use the criteria we were given". The complaints in this thread from the folks you're defending were not part of those criteria.
That's fine.I will continue to go with the actual quote
Unfortunately for you the point you are debating is about selection and not criteria. That's fine.
It's ignoring who sets the criteria, which the Committee clearly stated they had no input on.
It is both. Because the criteria both drive the selection process, and determine the selections made.Unfortunately for you the point you are debating is about selection and not criteria.
Drive but not select. Keep trying. It is both. Because the criteria both drive the selection process, and determine the selections made.
They do. Half of my reaction score is laughing emojis from Riley.Do laugh emoji’s count as likes? If so I’m starting to understand @Joes Place strategy here…

Yep; her productivity just about doubled in the last 10 games before the break (and now after) compared with the early season.
