The coach directed the Committee on what she needed for her team.
Committee even stated they were putting together the best team "for the Coach".
You can deny that all you want, but it is how the system works.

The Selection Committee Chair and USA Basketball have been very clear in their statements on who picks the team. The only one confused on how it worked is slow Joe/Angel.
Always amazed how some people on here can’t just say “well, we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one”

If you want to have a separate discussion on who creates the criteria knock yourself out. The statement was 'Coach doesn't select the team'

'Selected by'....... pretty clear........feel free to link anything you have that stats that 'the criteria is established only by the coach'. Fairly safe you can't find an absolute that states that. You have been piss pounded pretty bad in this thread, searching for any sliver of information to support whatever you are attempting to stand on. You know the difference between establishing criteria and selecting. Keep going, you are wrong and I am pretty content to stand on what I posted and has yet to be refuted.

If the Coach said she wanted Clark on the roster, she'd have given them criteria to ensure that happened.
She did not - and in fact stated she "had never been in the trenches" w/ CC. That response indicates she ONLY wanted players who had played on teams she had coached in the past.
You've even posted links/comments, yourself, where the Selection Committee answered questions about Clark and stated "we could only use the criteria we were given". The complaints in this thread from the folks you're defending were not part of those criteria.

Are you ever going to post a fact? Anything to support your hypothesis? Anything? So far the stats, the quotes and the facts have gone against your position.
Pro tip - If your post is based upon ‘Joe thinks’ and has no facts to support it you may want to rethink your post.
Why do you guys continue to argue with Joe? He’ll never admit to being FOS about something. He never has. He never will. He’s got 150k posts on here. Do you really think change is on the way for him?

Unfortunately for you the point you are debating is about selection and not criteria.
It is both. Because the criteria both drive the selection process, and determine the selections made.

Have you posted anything that indicates that the coach is the only one determining the criteria?

Yep; her productivity just about doubled in the last 10 games before the break (and now after) compared with the early season.
