How many of these trolls do you think actually are fans of Clark and the Fever
...and I'm guessing Santa will bring you Fever merch this Xmas too.
Joes Place is the message board equivalent of the Sarlacc from “Return of the Jedi”.The only good thing that came from this thread is i know my vote for wpoty
I've posted many times she's having/had a phenomenal rookie season.
That does not make her anything close to "league MVP" at this point.
How many of you "Fever fans" have been posting harassing crap at other league players over the course of the season? Because those players have stated some of the worst vitriol has come from Fever fans (and likely CC fans).
I see interesting parallels here.
Actually I read a quote from her earlier this season where she said she doubts she’ll ever move back to Iowa. How long til she buys a WNBA franchise and moves it to Des Moines?
‘That does not mean she's the best player in the league; most of the top tier players have 3+ yrs experience before they achieve that.’How is this remotely relevant?
I've pointed out numerous times that CC is the clear ROY frontrunner.
That does not mean she's the best player in the league; most of the top tier players have 3+ yrs experience before they achieve that.
Yes; I told you it was more of a popularity contest. There are several other players who have been "lights out" in their playoffs games. The people entrusted with that decision say 4th in the MVP voting.
Please parse the voting on merit versus popularity. What should have been the correct order of finish? Follow up question would be based on what criteria (other than being on a better team advancing in the playoffs).Yes; I told you it was more of a popularity contest. There are several other players who have been "lights out" in their playoffs games.
CC had one "good" game, but was not even the best player on that floor that day.
Re-read that until it sinks in for you.
Looking back at Clark’s rookie season and all the accolades she received, the thought occurred to me that she probably should’ve been on the Olympic team.
What do you all think?
If she was playing in June at the level she was playing at by season's end, absolutely.Looking back at Clark’s rookie season and all the accolades she received, the thought occurred to me that she probably should’ve been on the Olympic team.
What do you all think?
Well I did as I was told. Re read it. Let’s see how well it sunk in.Yes; I told you it was more of a popularity contest. There are several other players who have been "lights out" in their playoffs games.
CC had one "good" game, but was not even the best player on that floor that day.
Re-read that until it sinks in for you.
Well at least you didn’t lie in that post.Good for you.
By merit yes, popularity for sure.Looking back at Clark’s rookie season and all the accolades she received, the thought occurred to me that she probably should’ve been on the Olympic team.
What do you all think?
This is just a wild guess, but any chance the one person who voted for Reese is Black? Not unanimous...ridiculous.
"Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was a near-unanimous pick for WNBA Rookie of the Year, the league announced Thursday.
Clark, the No. 1 draft pick in April, got 66 of 67 votes from a national media panel. The other vote went to the Chicago Sky's Angel Reese, who was the No. 7 pick in the draft."

Joe's Place is black? This is just a wild guess, but any chance the one person who voted for Reese is Black?
What does this have to do with CC?
What does this have to do with CC?
There were 67 voters for Rookie of the Year. 66 of them picked Clark and one (1) chose Reese.Congrats to the Olympic snub on her first team all-WNBA selection!
Sheryl Joe must have a voteThere were 67 voters for Rookie of the Year. 66 of them picked Clark and one (1) chose Reese.
There were 67 voters for All-WNBA. 52 of them put Clark on their first team, 14 placed her on their second team, and one (1) voter did not put her on their ballot at all.
I don’t know if it’s the same 67 voters, but it sure seems like one of them despises Clark.
Joe must have a vote
DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNot sure what point you're trying to make, as I'd stated unequivocally that she was ROY over Reese, many times.
Go re-read them.
Not bad for league average.........
She started the season about league averageNot bad for league average.........
Too many 9 point steals in those metrics. She started the season about league average
She finished the season (particularly after the break) well above that
Those metrics were posted for you many pages ago.
