That’s not what I said. I said he spent that much money buying Twitter and ruining it. He could have put money into Space-X if it were a priority. He hasn’t.

Musk’s creations have already saved the government billions of dollars more than he has received in subsidies.
You don’t seem to realize how much cheaper he’s already made putting their spy satellites in space. Never mind the value of the Starshield network he’s building for the DoD.
This is preferable to having the government seize his wealth and funnel the money into corrupt MIC contractors like Boeing.
We’re way better off letting him make a more productive world than having bureaucrats dole out his wealth.

Campaigning requires a lot of work, on top of actually running the Exec Branch. He clearly was going to struggle doing both (and Trump is struggling far worse than Biden ever was and he's not running the country right now).
